The Australian Marine Complex (AMC) is a world-class centre for excellence for manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, maintenance and technology development, servicing the marine, defence, oil and gas, and resource industries.
Opened in July 2003, it is located 23 kilometres south of Perth with more than 100 businesses including precincts for Shipbuilding; Technology; Support Industry & Fabrication.
It has established international credentials for the repair, maintenance and construction of naval and commercial vessels, as well as infrastructure for the fabrication and assembly of offshore oil and gas modules.
The AMC is a historically important site for shipbuilding and marine related industries servicing Australia and international markets.
